NB In the early fifties these regular comic size issues were the first printings in Australia of what later was to become the 'Digest' size library comics that are well known in the UK. In actual fact the only printing presses with space available at that time in the UK were those at the Arden Press in Stamford St, London who produced 'Lilliput' and other pocket-size magazines. So with artwork cut and regulated, Cowboy Comics, Thriller and Super-Detective Picture Libraries were produced in the digest format so well collected today - all by chance.
