Then he bakes a big Xmas pudding in the wash house boiler and slips on the snow carrying it so it rolls down hill right through the windows of a toy shop. It gets embedded with toys so the kids get a big helping of pud - each with a toy in it!

*Christopher Foss is a renowned British artist and science fiction illustrator whose futuristic visions have adorned many book covers icluding Isaac Asimov’s Foundation trilogy, The Demon Princes series by Jack Vance and E E Smith’s Lensman. His film work has encompassed Dune, Alien and Superman and this triptych is his only known cover artwork for 2000AD. To our knowledge this is the first piece of his artwork ever offered at auction.
