The girls' picture stories focussed on darker subject matter including cruelty and adversity with titles ' My Father - My Enemy, Slaves of War Orphan Farm, No Tears For Molly' and 'Cinderella Spiteful'. This ground-breaking material was put together by IPC's editor of the time and was starkly at odds with Tammy's harmless, happy cover illustrations
