Korky, Desperate Dan and Keyhole Kate start their mirthful adventures. Bright fresh cover colours with cream/light tan supple pages. There is a two inch blind tear passing through the words "Express" and "Free" at the bottom of the front cover. The tear does not extend to the comic’s edge and may have been originally caused by the free gift inclusion. There are less than ten first issues known to exist and this copy is the highest grade ever offered at auction [fn+]. The Express Whistler is the only known example.
