Martin Asbury was born in 1939 and studied
at St Martin's School of Art in London. He started work as a strip cartoon illustrator
and was commissioned by the Daily Mirror to draw Garth in 1976 which he did for
many years. The strip appeared for six days a week and is syndicated around the
world. Martin Asbury is one of the UKs most in- demand storyboard artists and
his recent film works include Quantum Of Solace, The Da Vinci Code, Casino Royale,
Harry Potter, Tomb Raider and Batman Begins as well as projects for Steven Spielberg,
Ridley Scott and Oliver Stone.
