Blue were conceived by Pat Mills and based on fact. Blue’s heroic exploits at
Verdun are brilliantly illustrated by Joe Colquhoun in the artwork above. Colquhoun
drew Paddy Payne for the cover of Lion and Football Family Robinson for Jag. He
